Forest and Biomass România S.A.

Forest and Biomass România S.A. (FBR) is a company based in Giulvăz, in the vicinity of Timișoara, that manages 4,500 hectares of farmland in Western Romania. Each year, FBR produces 25,000 tons of food crops, woody biomass, and agricultural residues.

Since its establishment in 2009, FBR has heavily invested in building a professional team that adheres to high standards of operations, reporting, ethics, and sustainable management. Additionally, FBR has developed unique in-house operational software tailored to the local Romanian environment, providing all the key information necessary to optimize operations.

Through these investments and innovations, FBR positions itself as a major player in sustainable land management and biomass production in Romania. On December 20, 2023, FORBIOM SRL acquired 70% of Forbiom Holding GmbH, which wholly owns Forest and Biomass România. Concurrently, FBR signed a 24-year lease to manage the Giulvaz farm in western Romania. FORBIOM is a Romanian company based in Timisoara.
